“in front of”和“in the front of”虽然只差一个定冠词“the”，但意思却完全不同。“in front of”表示“在…前面”，指在某事物的前面，没有接触，而“in the front of”表示“在…前部”，其位置是处在这个事物之中，只是位置靠前。

?“shut off”意思是“ 关掉，切断”，可以用来表示断水、断电，关掉煤气、电源等。
